Our Process

How A CableNet Job Runs

The same four stages apply whether we are installing a single lead-in or a multi-year carrier program.

01

Scope & Locate

We start on site — electronic locating, GPR and hydro excavation confirm every existing service before a blade touches the ground.

02

Design & Approve

Our team produces or reviews the design and project scope, then handles carrier approvals, permits and traffic management.

03

Install

Trenching, ploughing, drilling, hauling or blowing — whichever method suits the ground, run by our own accredited crews and plant.

04

Test & Hand Over

Continuity, resistivity, voltage and OTDR testing, commissioning into the live network, then as-built documentation.

Plant & Equipment

Owned, Maintained And
Operated By Us

Our fleet is serviced and maintained internally, so availability is never subject to a third-party hire schedule.

Common Questions

Before You Enquire

Do you work outside Victoria and Queensland?

Yes. We operate from depots in Truganina VIC and Yatala QLD and mobilise Australia-wide, including Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin.

Can you take on the whole scope, or only part of it?

Either. Most clients hand us the full scope — locating, excavation, installation, termination, testing and commissioning — because keeping it with one accredited contractor removes handover risk. We are equally happy to supply a single specialist crew.

Which trenchless method suits my site?

It depends on ground conditions and what is above the cable route. Directional drilling and underboring suit crossings under roads, waterways and landscaping; cable ploughing suits open paddocks and greenfield runs; cable blowing suits existing duct networks. We will recommend a method after locating.

What accreditations do your crews hold?

Telstra (including TEBA and APL), Optus and Optus fibre splicing, NBN Co, VicTrack and Rail. Our management system is built on ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

How quickly can you quote?

An estimator responds to every enquiry within one business day. Complex civil and drilling scopes may need a site walk before we can price them accurately.
