Scope & Locate
We start on site — electronic locating, GPR and hydro excavation confirm every existing service before a blade touches the ground.
Thirteen specialist services, one accredited contractor. From locating and excavation through to hauling, termination, testing and commissioning, CableNet Industries delivers the entire cable installation scope in-house — anywhere in Australia.
Keeping the full scope with one contractor removes handover risk, keeps your program on schedule and means a single accredited team is accountable from design through to commissioning.

We start on site — electronic locating, GPR and hydro excavation confirm every existing service before a blade touches the ground.
Our team produces or reviews the design and project scope, then handles carrier approvals, permits and traffic management.
Trenching, ploughing, drilling, hauling or blowing — whichever method suits the ground, run by our own accredited crews and plant.
Continuity, resistivity, voltage and OTDR testing, commissioning into the live network, then as-built documentation.
Our fleet is serviced and maintained internally, so availability is never subject to a third-party hire schedule.
Horizontal directional drill for long under-road and waterway bores.
All terrain directional drill for rock and mixed ground conditions.
Mid-size HDD rig for tighter urban and residential sites.
Non-destructive digging to expose and prove existing services safely.
Fast, clean trenching for rural and greenfield cable runs.
GPS-guided automated pile driving — 46,000 piles set at Bannerton.
Two decades of carrier, civil, rail and renewable energy work means we arrive already knowing the standards your project answers to.
Carrier fibre and copper networks for Telstra, NBN Co and Optus, including backhaul to mobile towers.
ITS networks, CCTV, lighting, pits and piles on freeway and arterial upgrades.
Solar farm pile driving, GPS base stations and balance-of-plant electrical infrastructure.
Rail and VicTrack accredited works inside live rail environments.
Lead-ins, tray builds, cabinet and power installation for commercial developments.

Yes. We operate from depots in Truganina VIC and Yatala QLD and mobilise Australia-wide, including Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin.
Either. Most clients hand us the full scope — locating, excavation, installation, termination, testing and commissioning — because keeping it with one accredited contractor removes handover risk. We are equally happy to supply a single specialist crew.
It depends on ground conditions and what is above the cable route. Directional drilling and underboring suit crossings under roads, waterways and landscaping; cable ploughing suits open paddocks and greenfield runs; cable blowing suits existing duct networks. We will recommend a method after locating.
